The races were definitely cool. Mega loud and fast. No, we didn't bring Al (she was with my parents). Poor thing would have had her little ears blown out. We will eventually take her racing when she's big enough, but in the meantime she'll have to settle for souvenirs like the onesie pictured with the Red cat below. It says "Speed Queen in Training" on the front and "Smell of Nitro" in the back.

Red & the Souvenir
Dave and I went to Winter Nationals last Saturday with fellow Rod Riders. In case you don't know, it's a hugemongous drag racing event out in Pomona. Yes, it was ridiculously cold out there that day. It was raining when we pulled up, and by the time we were parking, it was hailing! Luckily it seemed like that was all that was coming down. The sky started to clear up a bit but we still had to maneuver around rain puddles.
