Labor Day mini Vacay
We went to Coronado for Labor Day Weekend and stayed at the Hotel Del Coronado. It was beautiful! The weather stayed warm and clear. Each morning for breakfast we ate at their yummy buffet. They had fresh fruit, tasty quiches, bacon, and an omelette bar. Since Al can eat almost anything we eat (as long as it's soft) she enjoyed the food, too. Mommy even got a little relaxation time and got a massage at the Spa. We took Aliora to the beach for the first time. She loved playing in the super soft sand and Daddy had a lot of fun showing Aliora the ocean and putting her feet in. Our room was in the "Historic" part of the hotel and we found out that it was only 3 doors down from the haunted room. We didn't see any funny business, tho. Here are Al and Daddy just after getting her feet wet. More pics from the weekend are here.
On Sunday we went to the San Diego Safari Park. We saw Uncle Aden and Buggy for a few minutes since they were just finishing up Snore n Roar, where you sleep over at the park. When Al is bigger, we'll take her, too! We spent the rest of the day there with Uncle Brad, Aunt Donna, Brenna and Calee. It was pretty hot and the animals seemed to think so, too, because most of them lazed in the shade. We saw a few antelope-like animals, elephants, and luckily some giraffes.
